FAQ

Is Mythic Picks free?

Yes. The full game is free to download and free to play. Every card is winnable through normal play, and there is no pay-to-win. A premium option focused on convenience and cosmetics is in the works, but it is not available yet and there is no pricing to share.

When does Mythic Picks launch?

It is in development and coming soon to iOS and Android. The App Store and Google Play buttons on this site are placeholders until the game is live; there is no download or waitlist yet.

How does the Arena work?

Arena is a 1v1, turn-based card game. You bring a 20-card deck of Legends and play across a 12-element weakness cycle, using status effects and timing to win. Matches take a few minutes, and a seasonal ladder rewards trophies and cosmetics. Cosmetics are flair only and never change card power.

What are Chests and how do drop rates work?

Chests are how you collect new cards. They open with a crack-and-pull reveal across multiple rarity tiers, from Common up to full-art. The exact per-tier percentages and the pity rule that guarantees a top-tier pull on a fixed cadence are published on our Drop Rates page and inside the app.

What is the Codex?

The Codex is a per-figure lore library — the heart of the game. Each of the roughly 638 mythological figures has a multi-layer entry that deepens as you collect and favorite that Legend, building to a long-form Deep Dive. It is written to be accurate and respectful to each source tradition.

Which mythologies are in the game?

Legends span the great pantheons — including Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Arthurian, Slavic, Japanese, Mesopotamian, Aztec, and Chinese mythology — with more added over time. Every figure is public-domain mythology rendered with original card art.

Is there anything to do besides battling?

Yes. Beyond the Arena there are Solo challenges, a daily free Trending Pick to claim, daily and weekly Quests, and the Codex of Legends — a browsable, filterable collection of every figure in the game with full lore. Many players spend most of their time reading and collecting.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Add friends and challenge them directly in a private Arena queue, join a Team for group chat and a members leaderboard, and share pulls and wins to your Feed. The game is async and social, so you are never waiting on a live opponent.

How do I delete my account and data?

From inside the app once it launches: Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. You can also use our Data Deletion page for the email request flow. Deletion is permanent and removes your collection and history.
