Terms of Service

1. What Mythic Picks is

Mythic Picks is a free-to-play mobile collectible card game built around the gods, monsters, heroes, and spirits of world mythology. Within the Service you can:

• collect digital cards featuring legendary figures (“Legends”) drawn from mythologies such as the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and others;
• open Chests to reveal cards across multiple rarity tiers;
• battle in the “Arena” — turn-based, 1v1 card matches with a deck of Legends — and take on Solo challenges, a daily Trending Pick mode, and a guided Tutorial;
• explore the Codex, a browsable library of mythological figures across multiple pantheons, each with lore and in-depth Deep Dive reading;
• complete daily quests, earn and spend in-game currency, and collect cosmetic items.

Mythic Picks is for entertainment and lore-learning only. It is not gambling, betting, investing, or a real-money game of chance, and digital items have no real-world cash value (see Section 6).

2. Eligibility & age

Mythic Picks is intended for users aged 13 and over. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Mythic Picks only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create an account or provide personal information.
• Some social features may have higher age limits, and certain community posting features are limited to users 13 and older.
• Making any purchase requires that you are old enough to do so and are authorized to use the payment method.

3. Your account

To use most features you create an account. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. You agree to:

• provide accurate information and keep it current;
• keep your credentials secure and not share your account;
• be responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for others or for Mythic Picks.

4. Mythological figures & card content

Mythic Picks features gods, monsters, heroes, and spirits drawn from the public-domain mythologies and folklore of cultures around the world — figures such as Zeus, Thor, and Anubis. These figures and the underlying myths are part of our shared cultural heritage and are not owned by any individual.

What we create. For each Legend we create and host original, stylized card artwork, character stats, lore, and Deep Dive writing on our own infrastructure. Card power levels, battle stats, rarities, Elements, and rankings are fictional and designed for gameplay balance — they are a game system, not a scholarly claim about any tradition.

Respect for source cultures. We aim to present mythological material with care and respect for the cultures it comes from. Lore is written to inform and entertain; it is not a substitute for authoritative academic or religious sources. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users;
• post or transmit content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, violent, or otherwise prohibited (see Section 8);
• cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or manipulate matchmaking, scoring, the economy, or rankings;
• buy, sell, or transfer accounts, virtual items, or currency outside the Service;
• reverse engineer, scrape, decompile, or interfere with the Service or its security;
• access the Service through unauthorized means or attempt to obtain data you are not permitted to access.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Virtual items & in-game currency

Mythic Picks includes virtual items (such as cards, Chests, cosmetics, and banners) and a virtual currency called Relics.

• Relics and virtual items are licensed to you for use within the Service. You do not own them.
• They have no real-world or cash value, cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out for money, and cannot be transferred or sold outside the Service.
• Relics can be earned through gameplay and, where offered, purchased with real money (see Section 9). Earned and purchased Relics may be treated the same in-game.
• We may modify, manage, regulate, or discontinue virtual items and currency, and may expire unused balances when your account is closed, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Chests & randomized items

Chests reveal a randomized selection of cards. Per-Chest rarity odds and any “pity” rules are published on our drop rates page and inside the app, and update whenever rates change.

• Chest outcomes are random within the published odds; we do not guarantee any specific card.
• Chests are opened using Relics. Where Relics can be purchased, Chests may be obtained indirectly with real money.

8. User content & community

Mythic Picks lets you create content: a username, display name, and bio; deck names; messages in any community or chat features; community posts and replies; suggestions; and a profile photo. You are responsible for what you submit.

Public by nature. Your username, display name, bio, profile photo, and similar profile content, along with content you post in shared spaces, are visible to other users.

Prohibited content. Do not post anything that is hateful, harassing, sexual or sexualizing of minors, violent, that promotes self-harm, that impersonates others, that contains slurs or profanity, that reveals others' personal information, that is spam, or that contains links. We use automated and human moderation, and you can report content. We may remove content, censor messages, and warn, time out, or ban accounts at our discretion.

License you give us. You keep ownership of your content. You grant Mythic Picks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and use the content you submit for the purpose of operating, moderating, and improving the Service. This license ends when your content or account is deleted, except for copies retained for backups, safety, or legal reasons, and for content others have shared or that we must keep by law.

You do not create the Legends or Legend cards in Mythic Picks — those come from our catalog.

9. Purchases & billing

Mythic Picks is free to download and play. The app is not yet available in the App Store or Google Play, and no purchases are offered today.

When the Service launches, we expect to offer optional in-app purchases — such as bundles of Relics and items, and possibly an optional membership that adds convenience and cosmetics. We will never sell card-changing power. Full purchase details and prices will be shown in the app at the time of purchase, and this section will be updated before any purchase is available.

Any purchases will be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play through your store account and subject to those stores' terms. Refunds, when available, will be handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies; we do not separately process store payments.

10. Gameplay, scoring & changes to the game

Mythic Picks is a live game. Card stats, scoring formulas, Arena and Solo rules, the economy, drop rates, available Legends, pantheons, and features may change at any time to balance gameplay, fix issues, or improve the experience. Card stats and outcomes are fictional and for entertainment. We do not guarantee that any feature, Legend, or item will remain available.

11. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, original card artwork, lore and Deep Dive writing, text, and game systems — is owned by Mythic Picks or its licensors and is protected by law. The underlying public-domain myths are not owned by anyone, but our specific artwork, written lore, stats, and presentation are. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as allowed by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using Mythic Picks and delete your account at any time (see our data deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required for legal, security, or operational reasons. On termination, your license to use the Service ends and virtual items and currency are forfeited, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythic Picks and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost virtual items or currency, or service interruptions, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mythic Picks harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of Mythic Picks is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree that disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you a different right. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are also subject to those platforms' terms.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date, and for material changes we may ask you to re-accept in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
